First rehearsal of the Summer Term

A really good rehearsal yesterday.  Got to grips with the music for Sunday's Evensong in Guildford Cathedral.  Welcome to Ken who joins me in the first tenor section (really should be welcome back as Ken was singing with the Consort before I joined! - Too long ago to remember).  A farewell to Ed (well almost, as he's singing with us in Guildford), we shall miss him.  This term's music looks interesting, I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun.

Time to collect music for the new term

Thursday is the late night opening at Dorking Performing Arts Library - so....  I'm off to Dorking later this afternoon to collect the RVW "In Windsor Forest" and Britten "Choral Dances from Gloriana".  I'll also be getting the Brahms Neue Liebslieder out of our library stored at Helen's.
Looking forward to rehearsing for Sunday week's Choral Evensong in Guildford Cathedral on Monday and seeing everybody again.  Hope we can find some new men!
