A good rehearsal last night. Great fun getting to grips with several new things! The Purcell to go with a swing, the Latin text of the Miserere, double choir in the Schutz, and Hebrew (at a pace!) in tbe Chichester Psalms.
Lots of anecdotes from Paul - I especially liked the one about how many currys you can find in the Bernstein.
Plenty of work to do on words and dots. Still wouldn'y enjoy t so much if it was easy.

Ready for the start of term!
Music collected from Dorking on Thursday last - filled the boot of my car! Taking it to Sue's later today so she can get it ready for everyone on Monday. Rehearsal CDs all now ready so it's all systems go!
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again on Monday for a first look et the music and then it's off to Capetown on Tuesday. Sunshine hooray. Don't worry guys (and gals) we're taking our music and a CD and we'll be practising too.
